The system for monitoring of car wheelset wear is a subsystem of "Automated diagnostic system for the measurement of geometrical parameters of car wheelsets” or “Digital diagnostic system for the measurement of geometrical parameters of rolling stock wheelsets.”
Intended application
The system for monitoring wheelset wear is designed to store, process and present information about parameters of car wheelsets measured with the help of Kompleks or Kompleks-2 and to provide warnings about higher-than-normal wear to the trunk line workstation of the Kompleks operator.
Application of the system will make it possible to provide the following information at the request of the operator, according to the identification number of the car:
- data about geometrical parameters of wheelsets registered by Komplekses during the year;
- provide in the report some information about the car mileage over this period, provided there is interaction with the data base;
- issue warnings about wheelsets with higher-than-normal wear in a car;
- issue messages about the wheelsets, parameters of which are close to those inadmissible for loading.
